This year begins the construction of our first plant conservatory. This conservatory will be dedicated 90% to carnivorous plants and 10% to companion plants such as bromeliads, mosses, ferns and orchids.
The building willbe surrounded with wild flowers native to the majestic forest which forms part of the 50+ acres of our property in Massachusetts. The conservatory will have a tissue culture lab, and will be home to five different climate types each ideal for plants ranging from the diminutive bladderworts to the magnificent tropical pitcher plants. We will try to have a wide variety of species representative of each continent. This is a long term project which, once it is completed, will be open to our clients and all are welcome to come and share in the magic. |
